Mill City Mercantile was founded in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as a creative outlet during an uncertain time has grown into a small-batch candle and home goods brand proudly made in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Each candle is hand-poured using coconut-apricot crème wax, lead-free cotton wicks, and the finest fragrance and essential oils available. We craft in small batches to ensure every pour meets our standards. Our candles are petroleum-free, phthalate-free, vegan, and cruelty-free — because what goes into your candle matters just as much as how it smells.

We keep our batches small by design. It means more attention to detail and a better product in your hands, every time. No shortcuts. No compromises.

Beyond candles, we proudly carry goods from fellow makers and artisans who share our commitment to quality. Mill City Mercantile takes its name from Lowell’s rich manufacturing heritage, and we’re honored to carry that tradition forward — making quality goods, right here in America.
